ENEOS Launches Sale of Environmental Value of Sustainable Marine Fuel (SMF), Decoupling Fuel Supply from Scope3 Emission Reductions
ENEOS announced that it has begun selling the environmental value of sustainable marine fuel (SMF) to freight forwarder and shipper enterprises engaged in ocean cargo transport. By decoupling Scope3 environmental value from physical fuel supply via a Book and Claim approach, customers are no longer constrained by fuel supply location or vessel, gaining a new tool for maritime Scope3 emission reductions.
